THE STORY
Throughout my entire life I have always loved science, specifically chemistry, it was originally my first major in college (that didn't last too long though). My mom was my middle school science teacher who had a backroom filled with unknown items I couldn't resist mixing together after school just to see what would happen. Even sometimes at my own detriment when one time we had to air it out because the smell got so intense. Still not sure what I happened to create!
But this interest in chemistry never faded and in 2016 in my freshman dorm room, I started making bath bombs. From there I developed my own custom formulas for many different cosmetics before landing a huge hit with matte liquid lipsticks. As one of my most loved products, the whipped matte liquid lipsticks have a core spot in my shops collection. As Incanto Cosmetics continues to grow, creating high-quality and unique products is my main priority and I take in all feedback and suggestions when creating products.
Transparency is incredibly important in the cosmetics industry which is why all of my products have accurate and detailed ingredients lists while also being 100% vegan and cruelty-free. I also strongly believe in providing a wide range of products for everyone; that is why with every collection I make, whether a fun one or a core collection, I take diversity, in all its forms, into consideration when curating these collections.

THE NAME & THEME
The name Incanto Cosmetics comes from the Italian word Incanto meaning charm, glamour, allurement, and even a little magic. The name was inspired by my Italian grandfather who passed away just shortly after the shop was opened under a different name and unfortunately he never got to see anything I created. After his passing I changed the name to Incanto Cosmetics, as much of my creativity throughout life was inspired and always supported by him.
Every collection I create is also inspired by something I love very much which is the wonderful genre of Fantasy. You may notice throughout the shop names, colors, and descriptions with slight nods to some of the most beloved movies, table tops games, and books of this genre, (LOTR, D&D, HP etc.).
